Fish and Corals Theme is a free desktop personalization software that lets you feast your eyes on beautiful images of ocean life. Developed by Microsoft Corp, this is a collection of HD wallpapers that display underwater fishes and coral reefs. 

Similar to Tropical Fish Theme, Fish and Corals Theme features an aquatic theme with its bundle of wallpapers and applies other personalization settings alongside them. Unlike the former, however, this has more images available. However, some of the wallpapers here can look a bit off and seem like they were edited if you look closely at them.

Swimming under the sea

The Fish and Corals Theme is pretty straightforward with what it offers you. As a bundle of high-quality wallpapers, you get 20 vibrantly-colored wallpapers that play as a slideshow by default. Unfortunately, you can’t manually select one of them to become a static background, as this program installs through Microsoft Store and gives no file folder. You can only set the time limit they have for each image cycle.

When you launch this program, it will not only instantly apply the new ocean theme but you also get set personalization options changed to match the theme. The desktop color will change to navy blue, while the mouse cursor and computer sounds will switch to the default look if you ever changed them beforehand. That’s about it for the customization options, though, so you can freely set whatever you want.

Like other wallpaper themes, this program also has its limits. As mentioned before, you get no folder containing the wallpapers so you can’t view them or even freely transfer their files to another device. Additionally, some of the wallpapers look strange when you look at them closely—as if they were heavily edited to have some creatures on-screen. It becomes a hassle since you won’t be able to unsee it.

All in all, Fish and Corals Theme is a nice pack of wallpapers for those who want an oceanic view for their desktop. You can’t fully customize it since the wallpapers can’t be manually selected, but the automatic application of other settings and the space to add your own touch is enough to make it a nice free personalization program.
